Neil Masters
Neil received his BS degree in Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin followed by a BS degree from Northwestern University in Physical Therapy. After working in private practice for 8 years in the Vail Valley he spent 2 years at the University of South Australia where he received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He once again returned to Vail where he owned and operated his own private practice for the past 7 years. He joined Howard Head in November of 2011 to take on the Clinical Director’s role of the new Avon Howard Head clinic. His main area of practice is in orthopedic extremity and spine rehabilitation as well as custom bike fitting and trigger point dry needling. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing and windsurfing.
Gentian Nuzzo
Gentian completed her undergraduate and Master’s degrees at Springfield College in Massachusetts. She has worked in Cincinnati, Denver, Vail, Edwards, Avon, and Aspen, in various orthopedic settings. She enjoys working with athletes and has worked with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes. Additionally, Gentian’s traveled as a physical therapist with the US ski team, the US diving team, a professional women’s soccer team and several high school teams. In 2008 she returned to school to complete a doctorate in physical therapy at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Health Professions. Gentian is as enthusiastic and dedicated to rehabilitate professional athletes as she is to work with everyone and anyone who comes into the clinic. In her free time, Gentian enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and stand up paddleboarding.
Marsha Messervey
Marsha Messervey and her husband, John, moved to the Vail Valley in 2007 after visiting the mountains for more than 20 years. With a degree in Marketing from Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!), Marsha has held various management and training positions in the Chicago Area. Her weekends are filled with snowshoeing, hiking, reading (mostly health and nutrition books), and entertaining friends and family who love to visit from the Midwest.
