Molly Bureta

Molly Bureta was born in Iowa but has lived in Summit County for the past 27 years. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and recently earned her Emergency Medical Technician certification. When Molly is not working in the clinic or providing medical coverage at community events, you can find her trail-running the Flumes Trail or vacationing on a sunny beach. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Ron, and their son.

Dina Proietti

Dina Proietti moved to Vail after receiving her B.A. from Michigan State University in 1994. Following a knee injury in 1995 and subsequent treatment at HHSM, Dina chose to pursue a career as an administrator in orthopaedic and sports medicine. Dina joined HHSM in 2008 and was instrumental in opening our first clinic on the Front Range. Dina enjoys telemark skiing, hiking, scuba diving, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and a good cup of freshly-brewed, strong, black coffee.  According to Dina, the best place for a good cup of coffee is in Europe – preferably sitting in the veranda in Amalfi overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Dirk Kokmeyer

A graduate of the Hogelschool van Utrecht school of Physical Therapy in the Netherlands, Dirk Kokmeyer has worked at HHSM since 2000. As a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS), Dirk specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. He has treated a wide range of athletes from the recreational to the professional level. Dirk has lectured on various topics and has published on rotator cuff repairs, rehab in throwing athletes, and rehab following complicated surgical procedures. He has also developed several of the post-operative protocols used by our referring orthopaedic surgeons. Dirk is an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and Red Sox’s fan.

Joe Pharez

A proud product of the South, Joe Pharez received his undergraduate from the University of Alabama and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University in 2008. Joe completed the HHSM residency program in 2009 and became a Sports Certified Specialist in 2010. When Joe isn’t working, you can find him off-roading with friends in his Jeep, poaching Pete’s Stash on his snowboard, or watching Alabama football. ROLL TIDE!!!

Megan Taylor

Originally from Langley, WA, Megan attended Washington State University on an athletic scholarship, where she became the first woman in WSU history to earn All-American status in cross country. Following graduation in 2002 with a B.S. in Food Science, she worked for 5 years in the food industry before a snowboarding injury introduced her to physical therapy, and directed her to a new career path. Megan graduated from Regis University in 2010 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and enjoys inspiring patients to achieve their sport-specific goals. Outside of the clinic Megan fuels her competitive drive in mountain biking and cyclocross, and enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and two Bengal cats Guinness and Jameson.
