Lori MyersLori Myers

Lori graduated from University of Minnesota in 1978 and completed her 4 year Feldenkrais® certification training in 1996. Winter Park lured her to continue her passion as a ski instructor and in teaching the Spanish-speaking ski clientele. There were no PT clinics in the county, so to stay in Winter Park, she founded Alpine Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabiltation, PC in 1982 until the transition to HHSM June 2011. Her expertise is in orthopedic, sports and functional rehab, manual therapy, movement analysis in golf and other sports, Polestar Pilates, balance and fall prevention, incontinence programs, craniosacral therapy, and home health. Feldenkrais® deepened her understanding of movement and biomechanics to help athletes enhance performance, prevent and rehab sports injuries. She, her husband Jim, the current mayor, and their 2 four-legged hiking companions, reside in Winter Park. After many years of following her 2 daughters in their collegiate volleyball careers, she looks forward to reactivating some of her interests such as golf, mountain biking, tennis, x-c and alpine skiing, piano, and travel.
