Nicholas Brown

Nico was born in Atlanta, GA and completed his undergraduate work at Emory University.  Nico lived and worked in Tuscany Region of Italy after college and returned to complete his Masters in Physical Therapy at Georgia State University.  Nico began his career with HHSM at the Vail Clinic in 2007 and has been the Manager of the Edwards Clinic since spring of 2009.  Nico is also certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling.  Nico was a lecturer at the 2011 HHSM Sports Symposium. Aside from Physical Therapy, Nico is also passionate about rock climbing and has been for over half his life. Nico wrote the injury chapter for the “Better Bouldering” in 2011 and continues to climb and enjoy the outdoors with his lovely wife Lilia and their two dogs Buster and Chili.

Gretchen Ebbeson

Gretchen Ebbeson was raised and attended school in New Hampshire.  She moved to the gulf coast of Florida and eventually worked her way to the Colorado mountains where she has been living for over a decade.  When she is not performing her Patient Rep duties, she can be found indulging her passion in hiking, snowshoeing, or practicing yoga.

Brittney Huntimer

Brittney Huntimer came to Howard Head through our Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program.  Originally from South Dakota, Brittney became interested in becoming a Physical Therapist while completing her undergraduate degree as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Iowa State University working with Division I Football and Softball athletes.  Brittney completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa and most recently attained a Sports Certified Specialist Certification.  On her days off, you can find Brittney snowboarding, running, mountain biking, and hiking.

Christine Hasselbach

Christine Hasselbach attended the University of Colorado for her undergraduate degree as well as her Master’s and Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has worked as a physical therapist since 2004 and moved to the Vail Valley in 2007 to work with orthopedic patients at Howard Head Sports Medicine and oncology patients at Shaw Regional Cancer Center. She is certified in lymphedema management and is a specialist in Oncology Therapy. Christy enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and young daughter.

Andrea Sauer

Andrea Sauer joins our outpatient occupational therapy team from Newburgh, Indiana.  She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1999 and her Occupational Therapy degree in 2004 from Indiana University. Andrea achieved her certification in hand therapy in 2010 joining an prestigeous group of therapist with advanced credentials in the treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries. Most recently, she attained a certification in manual lymph drainage and works with post-operative swelling in both orthopaedic and cancer patients.  On her off time, Andrea enjoys being outside hiking, biking, telemark skiing and traveling.

Stephanie Drew

Stephanie Drew earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in California in 2003 and went on to complete her Doctorate in 2004. Simultaneously, Stephanie also completed a year-long manual therapy residency. She has a strong Pilates and Maitland Therapy background, successfully treating a broad spectrum of diagnoses. Stephanie’s newest passion is her chosen specialty of women’s health. Stephanie and her husband, Joe, love all of the recreation that the Vail Valley affords–rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, road biking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and hanging with their dog, Bosley.
