Kathy Gwin

Kathy Gwin earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Delaware, where she competed on their Division I volleyball team. A therapist at HHSM since 2000, Kathy is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist and focuses on manual spine therapy, Trigger Point Dry Needling, and sports injuries. Serving as the Clinical Coordinator of Clinical Education, a certified Pilates instructor, and a certified Yoga instructor, Kathy stays busy. Kathy spends her free time with her family. She and her husband continue their mountain adventures of skinning, skiing, hiking, and biking – all while toting along their two daughters and the family dog.

Shannon Irish

Originally from San Diego, Shannon Irish completed her undergraduate degree at UC Santa Barbara and her Master’s and Doctorate in Physical Therapy degrees at Baylor University. She began her Physical Therapy career in the military with assignments in Georgia, Bosnia, and Egypt before moving to Colorado to join HHSM. An Orthopedic Specialist, Pilates instructor, and certified Kinesiotape practitioner, Shannon specializes in shoulder and knee rehabilitation and serves as the HHSM Director of Quality. Shannon has traveled around the globe with the US Snowboard Team as a Physical Therapist. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, and taking beach vacations to Costa Rica and El Salvador to brush up on her surfing skills.

Victoria Bartel

Originally from Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Victoria Bartel graduated with her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University in 1996. Victoria is a Sports Certified Specialist and shares her knowledge of the field as the Director of the HHSM Sports Residency Program. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys climbing the peaks of Colorado on her road and mountain bikes, snowboarding Vail or Beaver Creek, and rock climbing with her husband Scott.

Meredith Mueller

Meredith Mueller graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998 with a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy and is currently working on her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree through Regis University. Meredith is a Sports Certified Specialist, Certified Pilates Instructor, and Functional Capacity Evaluator. As the team leader for the Steadman Clinic spine practice, Meredith is working toward certification in Trigger Point Dry Needling. A strong athlete, Meredith telemark skis in the winter and rides with an all-female mountain bike team, called High Maintenance, in the summer. She was able to take a short break from work and school in May 2010 to ride the Kokopelli trail with several teammates and a production team. Look for her on the Travel Channel sometime in 2011-2012!

Ana Jeronimus

Originally from Duluth, MN, Ana Jeronimus earned her MPT at the College of St. Scholastica, her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Regis University, and will complete her orthopedic residency in the fall of 2010. Ana specializes in the evaluation and treatment of the foot and ankle and serves as the team leader for Dr. Clanton. In her spare time, Ana likes to vacation with her family on the shores of Lake Superior, cross country telemark ski, fish, and camp. Even though she was busy working on her DPT, Ana managed to win 4th place in her category.

Matt Mymern

A Colorado native, Matt Mymern grew up playing outdoors, participating in soccer, wrestling, snowboarding, mountain biking, and kayaking in Pagosa Springs. After completing his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University and earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, Matt was a pioneer of the HHSM sports residency program before taking a full-time position as Dr. Sterett’s team leader. In his spare time, Matt has fun snowboarding at Wolf Creek (preferably in lots of powder!) or playing a round at the Vail Golf Club.
