Mark Ryan

Mark Ryan received his Bachelor’s in Exercise & Sports Science from Colorado State University and his Master’s in Athletic Training from Illinois State University before working in professional baseball for 8 years. Working for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers, and Boston Red Sox organizations, Mark specialized in treatment of various complex injuries. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and ACSM Health Fitness Instructor, Mark enjoys helping enhance patients’ athletic performance and specializes in return to sport training. An avid runner, Mark placed first in his age category at the 2009 Teva Mountain Games ½ Marathon up Vail Pass, an impressive 2,900 foot elevation gain.

Michael Wahoff

After graduating from St. Louis University in 1990, Michael Wahoff practiced outpatient orthopedics and taught part-time at the St. Louis University Hospital. In 2000, Michael took a sabbatical during which he and a buddy bought an RV and skied every major resort in the Rockies, mountain biked throughout the US, and visited 49 of 50 states (Hawaii is tough to get to in an RV).  He landed in Vail three years later and felt right at home.  As a Sports Certified Specialist, Michael serves as Dr. Philippon’s team leader and specializes in the treatment of hip injuries. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and dog taking a spin on his bike, running (he has completed 12 marathons!), or skiing Vail’s Back Bowls with his friends.
